Internet Use Student does not successfully navigate WebQuest or websites. Student can navigate either WebQuest or website, but has trouble with one or the other.  Student has some difficulty navigating WebQuest and websites. Student successfully navigates WebQuest and websites.
 
Journal Entry Student does not write journal entry. Student's journal entry is half a page long or shorter and reflects little thought for topic. Student's journal entry is a page long and reflects some consideration of the topic. Student's journal entry is at least a page long and reflects thoughtful consideration of the topic.
 
Digital Photo Story Student does not create a digital photo story. Digital photo story is less than 2 minutes long, does not include a map and five images, and fails to have three discussion points. Presentation minimally engages the viewer in the story.   Digital photo story is 2-3 minutes long, uses at least 1 map and five images, but fails to have three discussion points. Presentation engages the viewer somewhat in the story.  Digital photo story is 2-3 minutes long, uses at least 1 map, five images and three discussion points. Presentation engages the viewer in the story.
 
Collaboration with Peers Group does not successfully work together. No digital photo story is made because of group disagreements.  Group struggles to work together with one or two students completing all work. Students work together successfully to create a digital photo story, but group work may not be divided equally among members.  Students work together successfully to create a digital photo story. Group work is divided equally among members.
